Santa gets on his bike to rescue Kendal Lions

Kendal and District Lions Clubs tradition of Santa Around Town, is under threat.
For the past 40+ years, each December, Kendal and District Lions Clubs Santa Sleigh has toured the streets of Kendal, bringing pre-Christmas joy to the towns children whilst raising thousands of pounds for local charities.

Unfortunately this tradition is now under threat. The Club has lost its storage facility and, as a result, if no alternative premises can be found they will have no choice but to scrap the sleigh.

Santa had got on his bike to scour the area for a suitable new home for his Sleigh. Can you help Santa with his quest? If you are, or know of, a kindly Kendal resident or businessman who would be prepared to offer shelter for Santas Sleigh over the off season please get in touch with us via Facebook.

We are looking for a dry secure enclosed space. The access door must be a minimum of 3m high and 2.5m wide. There must be a minimum depth of 8m.

Please help Santa save this wonderful Tradition for future years.
